Hot Lunch ProgramNews April 2008Welcome to the
HOT LUNCH OFFERED BY TASTE NUTRITION ON MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS IN THE MONTH OF MAY! TRY OUR NEW VENDOR FOR 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR, TASTE NUTRITION! Taste Nutrition offers fresh fruits and vegetables served in a salad bar setting and purchased from local farms with consideration for the value in purchasing organics. This fresh produce is 40% to 60% organic. They purchase quality meat products that have no hormones, no antibiotics and are nitrate free. Taste Nutrition uses products such as Meyers Natural Beef, Niman Ranch Hot Dogs and Fulton Family Farms Chicken. Click on the “Hot Lunch Order Form” to order a hot lunch on any Monday or Friday in May. There is one vegetarian entrée and one non vegetarian offering each day. The menu is different each Monday and Friday. Order lunch for only the days that you want a lunch. Parents are welcome to come by and pick up a lunch as well. lunches due to illness, vacation or field trip, please consider the

Hot Lunch is going to
provide water from a water cooler on GO GREEN WEDNESDAYS to bring awareness
to reducing the number of plastic water bottles. Our milk and juice drinks
are supplied by Berkley Farms. Our water is supplied by Although
there are no nuts in any of our menu items, there are foods with nuts
prepared and served from the kitchens of our vendors.
