We hope you are as excited about entering fifth grade next fall. Everyone enjoys buying new items for school; and to be sure that you get exactly what you need, here is a list of materials. Please bring everything listed on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 22, 2007.
- ONE 1-1/2” three-ring binder (with inside pockets)
- Index subject dividers - (You will need 7. We will label them in class)
- ONE package of WIDE ruled binder paper, measuring 8.5” x 11” (not 8”x 10.5”)
- At least three (3) NON-erasable pens, blue or black only
- At least five (5) SHARPENED #2 pencils with erasers
NO mechanical pencils, please!- An eraser
- Three to four glue-sticks (not the liquid kind)
- A set of fine-line colored markers
- A set of colored pencils
- At least three (3) fine-tipped black marking pens
- Four (4) narrow highlighters (one pink, blue, yellow, and green)
- Scissors (labeled with your name)
- White-out pen or bottle of white-out
- One plastic 3-hole binder pouch for pencils
- Paperback or electronic dictionary
- A box of tissues
- A deck of cards (used for math)
- A NOVEL FOR SILENT READING
DO NOT bring:
• A pencil sharpener
• A pencil box of any type
